Normanton Solar farm is approx. 10 hectares, located around 5km south of the township of Normanton in Far North Queenslandd. The Solar Farm has a capacity of 5MW including around 16,000 x 310W solar modules.

The solar farm is expected to generate in excess of 8,680MWh per year and is connected directly to the Energy Queensland Normanton Substation via a dedicated 22kV feeder.

What: System design development, supply and install LV/MV switch-room, install and .terminate all major AC and DC cabling reticulation. Supply balance of system (BOS) including all system wiring, security systems, transformers / kiosks.
Why: The Normanton Solar farm is expected to significantly reduce grid transmission losses by generating energy locally for the Normanton region.
